Battlestar Galactica...
Man, what a show! (of course, I'm talking about the remake here).My wife and I love it so much...what an intense piece of TV. In fact, I'd almost got as far as saying cinema, because the creators treat it like it's a motion picture.
Like the second episode "Water" where we open on a gloved hand, dripping with water. The camera backs up a bit, and we see a uniformed woman (Boomer) dripping with water, looking completely confused. Nice stuff.
The stuff with Gais Baltar drives me nuts. He is such a cad. And I'm not sure where they are going with the religious stuff--wow, the good guys are polythesitic but the bad guys are monothesitic? Whew. :-)
